"I started working in 1992 with depraved childeren in aa shanty town in Fortaleza. After four years I felt I could increase this work, so I acquired a loan on an abandoned building belonging to a non governemental organization . With the help of friends we started the necessary repairs as the building was in a very bad state. After a year of hard labour we managed to achieve a good result and conditions necessary for the functioning of the project. I found with my friend Ved Aurora the help to acquire building material. I met then an Artist in plastics Raquel Fraga, she proposed to paint children themes on the walls and the walls had an aspect of children books. The project was ready. Together with library expert Lucia and grand dedication she organized the Library.

Today we have tutorials in flute, guitar, singing, drawings. story tellers, judo, chess, dancing, theatre. All these activities are means of occupying the childres time and give them moments of pure lucidity.

We have 140 children and adolescents competing in judo tournaments and achieving first place. They are under tutorial of Neto.
We are recognized as Public Utility but we are not given official help.
Now we have more friends with the project Brasil live. We are hopeful with this alliance and have expectations of more concrete help so we can amplify our work.
To support the Brasil Live will be of great importance to give opportunity that this youngsters need and deserve, and these conditions will make of them conscients and capable citizens."
